

The Swedish Motorsport Federation (Svemo), founded in 1935, is the national federation responsible for motorcycle, snowmobile, and powerboat racing in Sweden. As a member of the FIM and the Swedish Sports Confederation, Svemo plays a key role in organizing and developing motorsport across the country.
They sanction a wide range of events — from local club races to major national championships — across disciplines such as motocross, enduro, speedway, snocross, and powerboat racing. Svemo supports riders of all ages and levels, while keeping safety and responsible riding at the heart of its mission.

The Swedish Motocross Championship 2025 is one of the biggest in Europe, featuring over 200 riders at some events. The championship showcases the main classes, including MX1, MX2, and MX Women, along with a support class in the Swedish Youth Championship 125cc, running alongside the elite classes.
This year, all four classes will battle it out across eight exciting rounds as the championship tours Sweden—from Landskrona in the south to Enköping in the east. With a variety of track types, including everything from deep, soft sand to challenging hardpack sections, riders will face unique challenges at every round. The championship will also return to the iconic MXGP track in Uddevalla during the spring, and the thrilling season finale will take place at the beautiful hillside track in Varberg on Sweden’s West Coast, featuring a mix of both one-day and two-day events.
Each round will feature four competitive classes, with the following format:
- Free Practice (including Time Qualification): 10 + 20 minutes
- MX1 / MX2 : 3 races, 25 minutes + 2 laps
- MX Women : 3 races, 20 minutes + 2 laps
- Youth U17 125 : 3 races, 20 minutes + 2 laps
