Round one of the Australian Motocross Championship (ProMX) is supported by the Victorian Government and the Bass Coast Shire Council.
Wonthaggi’s high-flying status as the opening round in the Penrite ProMX Championship presented by AMX Superstores continues in 2025, with the spectacular track in regional Victoria to kickstart Australia’s premier motocross series.
With ongoing support from the Bass Coast Shire Council and new support from the Victorian Government via its Significant Sporting Events Program, all attention will turn to the Gippsland-based venue for an extended two-day round on the weekend of March 22-23 as it hosts the ProMX opener for the fifth successive year. Adding to the excitement, the event will also feature the prestigious FIM Oceania Women's Motocross Cup, showcasing top female talent from across the region and further elevating the weekend’s racing actioN.
