Lyng - September 21st
Join us for the final of the 2025 Motul ACU British Motocross Championship, live from Lyng, Norfolk, in the East of England.
Cadders Hill, Lyng is a natural hillside motocross circuit, primarily sand based, without too many modern man-made obstacles. It is nonetheless a spectacular, physically demanding motocross venue that has witnessed many titanic battles for championship points and this year plays host to the final round of the season.
First out the gate is the RFX 125cc class and these guys are hungry and fearless. For many this is there first year of racing the British championship and they have thrown everything at it to gain points throughout the season, but the final standings come down to today’s results.
The MX2 class has been highly entertaining all season and the mix of raising stars alongside seasoned pros has added to racing action. With two titles up for grabs, the MX2 title and the JMR Under 21 title there’s plenty still to race for.
Jeffrey Herlings took the honours in the Apico MX1 championship in 2024, but we will have a new champion in 2025. In the line up in the 450cc class is Conrad Mewse, Adam Sterry, Martin Barr, Carrlton Husband, Josh Gilbert and Tristan Purdon.
Lyng was one of the venues for the Grandstand Television Trophy scrambles in the late 60s; it also hosted a 125cc Grand Prix in 1993 and has been running British Championship events for over 30 years. Today it will play host as we crown the British champions of the 2025 season.
