Motul ACU British Motocross Championship 2026

Round 4 of the 2026 Motul ACU British Motocross Championship is here, and we’re heading to Landrake in the Cornish hills for what promises to be a spectacular day of racing, a stunning venue that always delivers brilliant racing and plenty of drama.

With three rounds now done and dusted, round 4 at Landrake takes us to the halfway point of the championship, and with the title fights heating up across every class, the stakes have never been higher

In the RFX 125 class, Drew Stock carries the red plate into round 4 with a 29-point gap over class rookies Harley Marczak in second and Joel Winstanley-Dawson in third. Behind them just 14 points separate out the next 6 positions Landrake will be another crucial opportunity for the championship contenders to stamp their authority and rack up vital points as we hit the halfway mark of the season.

The MX2 class has been one of the standout stories of the 2026 season so far. Charlie Heyman’s fantastic 1-1 at Lyng in Norfolk, combined with bad results of his closest rivals, means he now holds a chunky 32-point lead over Gyan Doensen, with Tommy Searle a further eight back and Joe Brookes just one more point behind in fourth. It may be too early for Heyman to be in championship mode, but if he keeps up his consistent run of results at Landrake, he will certainly be hard to beat. Can his rivals close the gap in Cornwall, or will Heyman extend his lead even further?

In the Apico MX1 class, the battle at the top is incredibly tight. Ben Watson holds the Red Plate heading into Landrake, with his victory at Lyng seeing him eke out a five-point lead over Oriol Oliver and Conrad Mewse. Mewse comes in as the reigning champion, having picked up his fifth national title in 2025, and will be desperate to claw back points and reclaim top spot. With three riders separated by just a handful of points, the MX1 class is set to provide some of the closest and most exciting racing of the season at Landrake.
